Released on July 13th - July 26th, 2000 issue of "Knoxville's Nite Life"

     Dave Landeo will be having his CD Release Party at Boogie's on July 14th.  And what a Party this figures to be?  Because this is a celebration of one major achievement for Dave.  Having been in the music business for many, many years, "this is the first solo project that I have endured where I was 100% responsible for all the music, playing all the instruments", Dave told me.   For someone that knows a lot about the music industry, for one person to take on that role is quite impressive.  To actually get an excellent finished product is amazing.  But that just goes to show you Dave's desire and motivation to get somewhere in this music business. 

     As for the CD Release Party itself, M and L Sound has put in a big PA System in the spacious upstairs of Boogie's.  On stage at given times during the show will be up to 10 musicians.  "I just wanted to throw a big party with all my friends and family there to celebrate.  I wanted to play a show with all the nusicians that have helped me along the way.  I hopw this just turns out to be one great time, and people like M and L Sound and you guys at Knoxville's Nite Life that have helped us along the way are there to have a blast.  I have family coming in from all over the place for this CD Release.  So let's just have some fun!"

     Andyone that has ever seen Dave Landeo perform must appreciate his talents and enthusiasm for what he does.  Making the descision to be a full time musician is always difficult.  But that honesty and dedication has payed off for Landeo.  That's why he is able to make frequent trips to Key West and other locales to play his music.  Dave is always available to play anywhere that someone wants him, and that is one of the reasons his schedule is so full.  "But that's what it is all about for me.  To be able to play my msuic for someone's enjoyment and make new friends."

     Well, I'm sure that there will be many friends to help him celebrate this special night.  One of those friends is me, and I'll be there, and I'm planning to have a blast.  Because that's just how Dave Landeo does things!
